KATHMANDU: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) leader Manushi Yami has suggested CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli to level accusations based on the facts.

Former Prime Minister Oli in a program in Kathmandu on Sunday had questioned, “How did Baburam Bhattarai’s children study in the UK even when he was underground?” In response, Yami asked the UML chair how long he was going to take politics lightly and make fun of it.

Yami responded via social media Facebook. “Former PM Oli, it would be appropriate to make allegations with a few facts,” she said on her Facebook page. “After being selected for a postgraduate scholarship, my mother went to the UK and took me with her in 1960s. We both returned to Nepal after two years. From what source of income we went, what situation we went through there, it is evident in page no. 46 to 51 of my mother’s recently published autobiography. Kindly read. How long are you going to make politics a subject of airing jokes?”
