Cold grips Valley as mercury dips to 10 degree Celsius

KATHMANDU: With the winter season already set in, mercury has gone down in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday morning.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degree Celsius at 6 am.

Currently, there is no significant weather system. The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of light rain in some places of Pradesh and Gandaki Pradesh, according to the Division.

Similarly, light snowfall is likely to occur in high hilly and mountainous regions of Pradesh 1 and Gandaki Pradesh today. The weather will remain fair in the rest of the provinces.
