NC leader Poudel diagnosed with coronavirus infection



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Pradip Poudel has tested positive for coronavirus.

Poudel tested positive for the virus infection during a PCR test on Thursday after suffering from health problems for three days.

Poudel’s health condition is normal, said Sushil Bhatta, a former central member of the Nepal Students Union.

NC leader Poudel is the candidate for the post of General Secretary in the party’s 14th General Convention. He is also a member of the active membership investigation committee is preparing to announce his candidacy in a few days.
