NAC’s former chairperson Chaturvedi found dead



KATHMANDU: Former Chairperson of the Nepal Airlines Corporation, Ramagya Prasad Chaturvedi, was found dead this morning.

According to the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, he was found dead near the under-construction house at Chabahil.

Spokesperson of the Range, Superintendent of Police, Ramesh Kumar Basnet, said that 74-year-old Chaturvedi might have jumped off the under-construction house of Gautam Agrawal.

Further investigations into the case are underway.

The body of Chaturvedi was found at 7:00 am and has now been taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem, added Basnet.

Police shared that Chaturvedi’s mobile phone was found on the fourth floor of the under-construction house. The incident took place when Chaturvedi had gone for a morning walk.
