Route permit not mandatory for public vehicles during Dashain

KATHMANDU: Public vehicles are plying roads without route permit throughout the Dashain festival starting today.

The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has made such an arrangement so as to facilitate passengers to reach their destinations without any hassles.

This arrangement will apply throughout the country, according to DoTM.
