NC leader Dangol elected President of Kirtipur municipality



KATHMANDU: Krishna Man Dangol has been elected as the President of Nepali Congress (NC) Kirtipur municipality.

Dangol was elected unopposed through the municipal convention held on Wednesday. Dangol is considered close to Prakash Man Singh, the former General Secretary of the NC.

Similarly, Rajita Maharjan and Sudan Basnet have been elected as Vice Presidents. Similarly, Kiran KC and Ichchha Maharjan have been elected as Secretaries.

Suryakanta Koirala and Sanu Maiya Maharjan have been elected as Deputy Secretaries. Pabitra Bista has been nominated as the treasurer. Other 20 members have been elected unopposed.

With this, the NC municipal convention is now yet to be conducted in Dakshinkali municipality in Kathmandu.
