NC determines slogan for its upcoming general convention



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has determined the slogan for its upcoming 14th general convention.

A meeting of the party’s Information, Communications and Publicity Department set ‘Enthusiasm, Unity and Transformation in Nepali Congress- Let’s make the 14th General Convention Successful’ as the slogan of the upcoming general convention.

The meeting held under chairmanship of Department Chief and NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma decided to organize ‘Chintan 14th General Convention’ on the eve of the general convention, said Department Secretary Dinesh Thapa Magar.

Group-wise discussion would be held on the issues — ideology, principle, nation, NC, politics, youths, women, different communities, administration and society transformation at the program. Responsibility has been given to Deputy-Chief of the Department, Dr Suresh Acharya, for the coordination of the program ‘Chintan 14th General Convention’.

Other different sub-committees have been formed for the preparation and management of the program. ‘Nepali Congress Broader Information Network’ has been formed for the continuity of technology –friendly NC campaign.

According to the Department, a code of conduct related to the network program was also passed by organizing all those involved in the party’s technology-related activities and those involved in its social sites coordination. A 27-member central mechanism and seven provincial mechanisms have been formed separately under the convenorship of Department member and coordinator of the NC Technology and Social Sites Sub-committee, Er Dipesh Bista.
