Two UML Ministers resign from Sudurpaschim government



KATHMANDU: Two ministers of the CPN-UML in Sudurpaschim Province government have resigned on Tuesday.

UML Sudurpaschim parliamentary party (PP) leader and Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Prakash Bahadur Shah and Minister of State Archana Gahatraj resigned.

Shah and Gahatraj, who earlier were with the Madhav Kumar Nepal faction, have remained in the UML after the party split. They had supported Maoist Center Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta by going against party directive and were made ministers.
