JHAPA: A person died and two others sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident in Jhapa district.
The deceased has been identified as Som Dahal, 37, of Kachankabal rural municipality-6, Bishal Basti, said District Police Office, Jhapa.
Critically injured Dahal died in the course of treatment at B and C Hospital in Birtamod. The accident took place at 8 pm.
Karan Rajbangshi, 26, of driver of motorcycle (Me 10 Pa 5389), and the pillion rider Jayamati Rajbangshi of Kachankabal rural municipality-3, have sustained injuries.
The accident took place when a motorcycle, Me 10 Pa 5389, heading to east collided head-on with another motorcycle, Me 8 Pa 2137, coming from the opposite direction.
