Fire breaks out at Balaju Industrial Area

Helicopter being used to douse fire



KATHMANDU: A fire has broken out at the Navy’s Biscuit Factory in Balaju Industrial Area of Kathmandu at the wee hours on Saturday.

The fire that started at 2 am has not been brought under control yet, said police.

Firefighters, police and locals are rendering their efforts to control the fire.

Similarly, efforts have been made to bring water from a helicopter to douse the fire.

It is not known yet how the fire started in the factory.
