Myagdi registers 762 additional business firms in one year



MYAGDI: Seven hundred and sixty-two additional industries and business firms have been registered in the district in the last year.

The Cottage and Small Industries Office, Myagdi has registered 500 industries and 262 commercial firms.

The Office collected revenue of Rs 2 million 608 thousand 123 from these industries and firms that were registered from mid-July 2020 till June 30, 2021, Office Chief Nandalal Poudel said.

According to him, the number of registered industries and firms has increased in the district as the industries and firms in operation since before have been brought under the law as well as due to the attraction towards enterprises.
He shared that most of those registering the new industries and firms are youths.

Among the 500 newly-registered enterprises, 368 are based on agriculture and forest products.

Two hundred ninety-eight industries and 398 business firms already registered before this have renewed their registration.
