Prachanda meets NC President Deuba in Budhanilkantha



KATHMANDU: A meeting has been held between CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba at latter’s residence in Budhanilkantha late Friday afternoon.

During the meeting, the two discussed Prime Minister KP Oli taking a vote of confidence, by-elections to the National Assembly and forming a new government.

Prachanda has reached Budhanilkantha to meet Deuba. Likewise, senior CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal had reached Deuba residence Thursday followed by Prime Minister KP Oli on Wednesday.

Exchanges between political leaders has been frequent owing to PM Oli’s vote of confidence in Parliament on May 10.
