NeMUN, London, to set up ‘Covid-19 Challenge Fund’

LONDON: Nepalese Migrant Unity Network (NeMUN), Europe, organized a gathering to help the government of Nepal in coronavirus pandemic.

The gathering also announced to form a ‘COVID-19 Challenge Fund’ of Rs 5 million to fight against Covid-19 pandemic in Nepal.

The gathering decided to invest the fund to purchase health supplies including oxygen concentrator machine as well as fruits and food would be distributed in honour of health workers providing their services round the clock putting their lives at risk.

On the occasion, Professor of Huddersfield University, London, Dr Padam Simkhada, presented a working paper regarding vulnerable situation of Covid-19 pandemic in Nepal and world’s experience in fight against Covid-19.
