Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 3,038 with two new fatalities



KATHMANDU: As many as two COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 3,038 as of Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 339 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,78,809 in the country as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 2,201 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 74 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,73,529 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
