America’s COVID-19 cases cross 31.5 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 31,559,438 in the United States of America after 61,313 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 6,868,221 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 24,120,970 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 570,247 with 893 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,885,153 and infected 133,002,033 globally until the filing of this news.
