Nepali Ambassador to US Yubaraj Khatiwada welcomed

KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed Nepali Ambassador to the United States Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada has reached the United States.

Ambassador Khatiwada was welcomed by a team of Deputy Chief of Mission Kumar Kharel on behalf of the Nepali Embassy in Washington DC.

Honorary Consul General Prem Raja Mahat who had also reached the airport wished Ambassador Khatiwada a successful tenure.

Ambassador Khatiwada had served as Finance Minister and Minister for Communications. He is also a former governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Meanwhile, Former Ambassador Dr. Arjun Bahadur Karki has returned to Nepal through a flight of Qatar Airways.
