Confident of HoR restoration: Leader Bhattarai

KASKI: Leader belonging to Prachanda-Nepal group of NCP and former minister Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has said they had the belief that the House of Representatives (HoR) would be reinstated.

Addressing a program, organized by a party-affiliated organization in Pokhara on Thursday, leader Bhattarai reiterated the belief that the respected Supreme Court would restore the dissolved HoR.

“Former chief justices, former chairmen of Nepal Bar Association, constitutional experts, legal practitioners and others are against Prime Minister’s move. It is now being discussed in the Supreme Court. The SC will restore it,” he said, arguing that the NCP led by Prachanda-Nepal group is the authentic party so this group deserves the election symbol ‘Sun’.

Similarly, NCP standing committee member Devendra Poudel, claimed that there was no obstruction by the party to Prime Minister KP Oli in his works.
