KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has sent a congratulatory message to Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, on the assumption of the high office of the Swiss Federal Presidency.
In her message sent Thursday, the President has underlined the close and cordial relations enjoyed by Nepal and Switzerland since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1956.
Appreciating Swiss cooperation in Nepal’s development endeavors, President Bhandari expressed her willingness to working closely with President Parmelin on matters of common interest in the coming days.
