KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index – a tool to measure share trading in the securities market has gained double-digit points today.
According to the NEPSE sources, the index gained 15.91 and reached 2,194.48 points. Likewise, the sensitive index – a tool to measure the share trading of big companies has increased to 421.22 points with a gain of 3.08 points today.
The trading of total 208 companies made a total market turnover to over Rs 5.874 billion. Total shares traded today were over 11.76 million.
With the rise in the NEPSE index, the market capitalization has jumped over to Rs 2955.86 billion.
The share of 112 companies traded today had marked a rise while 47 companies saw a fall in their share value.
Likewise, the share value of different 16 companies remained unchanged.
