PM Oli-faction expands Sudhurpaschim Committee; takes action against Bhim Rawal



KATHMANDU: The faction led by Prime Minister and Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Oli has expanded the Sudhurpaschhim Provincial Committee.

The provincial committee has been expanded by recommending action to Bhim Rawal, who is in-charge of the province.

Rawal has been supporting the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the party.

According to Surya Thapa, Press Adviser to Prime Minister Oli, the fourth extended meeting of the provincial committee has expanded the provincial committee to 551 members.

The Oli-faction has picked Lekhraj Bhatt as the chief coordinator of the Far-Western Province.

Karna Bahadur Thapa is the Chairman of the Sushurpaschhim State.

According to Thapa, action has been recommended against Rawal for withdrawing money from the party’s account.

“The meeting has also recommended action against Bhim Rawal for embezzling Rs 3 million from the party’s account,” Thapa has written on his Facebook.
