Nepal should build bond of trust with India: Proposed Ambassador to India

KATHMANDU: Proposed Ambassador to India Dr. Shankar Sharma said a relationship of trust should be established between Nepal and India.

He said that an atmosphere of trust should be created between the two countries for mutual economic, social and political reform and development.

Responding to a question from lawmakers in the Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) on Monday, he said, “There is a need for confidence-building to improve economic, social and political ties between the two countries. Trust is paramount. A lot of things can be done easily if trust is developed.”

Sharma expressed commitment to utilize opportunities to be availed in India for prosperity of the country.
