KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) is holding its Standing Committee (SC) meeting to finalize the names of ministers to participate in the government.
The meeting will take place at central party headquarters in Paris Danda in Koteshwor at 1 pm, according to a Maoist Center leader.
The Maoist Center will get a total of five ministries as per the agreement reached with the ruling coalition. Of them, the Maoist Center has already got the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy.
Now, it will get the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security and the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
Moist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda has been entrusted with the responsibility to select ministers. Today’s meeting will dwell on the issue.
