KATHMANDU: Mumbai Indians has defeated Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets in a cricket tournament under the Indian Primer League (IPL).
Held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday night, Mumbai reached the target of 91 runs set by Rajasthan Royals in 8.2 overs by losing two wickets.
Mumbai’s Ishan Kishan made highest 50 runs and remained unbeaten. Rajasthan’s Mustafizur Rahman and Chetan Sakariya took one wicket each.
Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Rajasthan notched up 90 runs in the allotted 20 overs at the cost of nine wickets.
Rajasthan’s Evin Lewis secured highest 24 runs. Mumbai’s Nathan Coulter, James Neeshan and Jasprit Bumrah took 4, 3 and 2 wickets each.
