4 Nepalis arrested for illegally operating liquor factory in Kuwait



KATHMANDU: Kuwait police have arrested four Nepalis on charges of setting up an illegal liquor factory in Kuwait.

According to the sources, Nepalis have built liquor factories in nine apartments in Hawali, Kuwait.

The Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior had mobilized the police after receiving information that a liquor factory had been set up in the apartment.

Police have seized hundreds of barrels of liquor and liquor making equipment during the raid.

The arrested Nepalis are in custody for further investigation.

Earlier, the police had arrested some Nepalis in connection with the production and sale of illegal liquor.
