Bills tabled in National Assembly



KATHMANDU: A bill entitled ‘Food Hygiene and Quality 2021’ has been tabled in the meeting of the National Assembly (NA) Friday.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Karki, on behalf of the Prime Minister, presented the bill in the meeting. Similarly, Minister Karki tabled the Annual Report of the Election Commission for 2020/21.

NA secretary Rajendra Phuyal tabled the bill on Public Service Commission 2019 with the suggestions received from the House of Representatives (HoR).

Meanwhile, lawmakers in the house have voiced to manage the anti COVID-19 vaccines to the vulnerable and target groups and to immediately bring the factual report of Darchula ‘tuin’ incident. Similarly, lawmakers Dr Bimala Rai, Tualasa Kumari Dahal, Pramila Kumari, Udaya Sharma Poudel, Sumitra BC and Bhairav Sundar Shrestha have demanded action against the culprit of Darchula incident.
