CPN-Maoist Center’s Standing Committee meet underway at Paris Danda in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the CPN-Maoist Center is underway at party’s central office at Paris Danda, Kathmandu, Friday.

According to Bishnu Sapkota Jugal, press advisor of Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the meeting started at the party office a few minutes ago.

Maoist Center’s SC meeting is scheduled to discuss on the common minimum program of the government, cabinet expansion and preparation for the forth coming Central Committee’s meeting.

The party has yet to finalize the names of the leaders to be included in the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led cabinet. It has, so far, sent two ministers in the cabinet.
