CPN-Maoist Center calls SC meeting Friday afternoon



KATHMANDU: One of the coalition partners in the Nepali Congress (NC)-led government, the CPN-Maoist Center has convened its Standing Committee meeting on Friday afternoon.

According to Maoist Center sources, the meeting will be held at the party headquarters Paris Danda, Kathmandu.

“The meeting will discuss on common minimum program for the government, the cabinet expansion and preparation of the party’s central committee,” the source said.

The party has yet to finalize the names of the leaders to be included in the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led cabinet.

It has, so far, sent two ministers in the cabinet.
