Nepal-Prachanda meet again in Koteshwor

KATHMANDU: At a time when the ruling CPN-UML’s internal dispute has reached at a climax, UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have held a meeting at Nepal’s residence in Koteshwor on Tuesday again.

According to sources, Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda reached Nepal’s residence in Koteshwor on Tuesday afternoon.

Both leaders are the kingmakers of the opposition alliance against Prime Minister KP Oli.

Twenty-three members of the House of Representatives from UML’s Khanal-Nepal faction have signed a writ petition demanding the appointment of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister.

Ruling UML’s Chairman Oli faction has regarded this meeting between Nepal and Prachanda as an attempt to foil the UML’s party unity attempts.

According to Prachanda’s press coordinator Bishnu Sapkota the leaders discussed about the latest political development in the country.

Earlier, addressing a program in Janakpur this morning, Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda had said that the Supreme Court would restore the House of Representatives and Deuba would be the Prime Minister.
