KATHMANDU: Police have arrested one more person for involvement in the murder of Jitendra Sah of Jaleshwor in Mahottari district.
Police arrested Sahil Gopali of Chandragiri-3 from Chandragiri Municipality-8 on Monday.
Earlier, police had arrested Somlal Gopali of Chandragiri-3, Thankot, and Manoj Dong Tamang, 25, of Daman-9 Makwanpur, living in Chandragiri-1, Dahchok.
According to Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Basnet, Sah was stabbed at Chandragiri-3, Thankot, on Sunday. Basnet said all three were arrested within 24 hours of the incident.
Sah, 20, of Jaleshwor Municipality-2, had been living near Mangalodaya School in Chandragiri-3, Thankot. He had sustained serious neck and back injuries from the knife attack and died on Monday morning while undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Center.
According to Basnet, Sah may have been stabbed during a dispute over a memory card used in a mobile phone during the preliminary investigation.
