KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 5.24 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2818.10 points.

A total of 10.13 million shares of 220 traded today resulting in a turnover of 4.22 billion.

Shares of banking, insurance, manufacturing, and microfinance groups increased modestly today.

However, shares of development banks, trade, hotels, hydropower, finance, others, mutual funds, and investment groups declined.

Himalayan Distillery has bought and sold the most shares worth Rs 359 million.

Shares of HIDCL and Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company decrease more than five percent today. Despite the decline in the overall market, the shares of Rashtriya Bima Company have increased by 8.5 percent.
