Newly appointed ministers of Karnali to be sworn in today



KATHMANDU: Two Nepali Congress (NC) ministers in Karnali Province will be sworn in this afternoon.

Yagya Bahadur BC has been appointed as the Minister of Social Development and Dinbandhu Shrestha as the Minister of Water Resources and Energy Development.

Minister for Water Resources and Energy Development Dinbandhu Shrestha said that the swearing-in ceremony has been scheduled for 2 pm.

Both BC of Surkhet and Shrestha of Jumla are lawmakers representing proportional representation.

The UML had withdrawn its support to Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi in the first week of April.
