Joy Foundation provides 100 sets of oxygen concentrators



KATHMANDU: Joy Foundation Nepal provided a total of 100 sets of oxygen concentrators donated by Milarepa Meditation Center, Sankhu, Nepal to support different government hospitals and local government health service providers.

Raju Shrestha, President of Joy Foundation Nepal, stated that 100 sets of oxygen concentrators will be distributed and delivered consecutively from Saturday to different government hospitals and health posts of remote areas in different parts of country.

The oxygen concentrator will be donated to different local bodies, hospitals and health post at Nuwakot, Syangja, Myagdi, Gorkha, Solukhumbhu, Manang, Kaski and Bardiya districts.

Shrestha added that the hospitals and health posts in remote areas have been struggling to meet the demand for oxygen supply and people have to stay in queue to get their turn to get oxygen cylinder, often resulting in death.
