UML leader Nepal holds talks with NC President Deuba in Budhanilkantha

KATHMANDU: Senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has reached Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence on Thursday.

Leader Nepal will discuss the latest political scenario with Deuba. Meanwhile, a Cabinet meeting is also underway in Baluwatar Thursday evening.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had reached Deuba residence on Wednesday.

The political situation in the country is unpredictable as PM Oli is scheduled to take a vote of confidence in the parliament on May 10.

Meetings among political leaders have been frequent of late.

Political parties, including UML’s disgruntled faction led by Nepal, had been demanding resignation of PM after he dissolved the parliament on December 20 last year.
