COVID-19: India records new 412,618 infections, 3,982 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 412,618 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 21,070,852.

Currently, 3,571,625 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 17,269,076 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 230,100-mark.

With 3,982 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 230,151, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,254,809 and infected 155,811,342 globally until the filing of this news.
