KATHMANDU: With Khumaltar Youth Club (KYC) succumbing to a defeat with 2-1 in today’s match against Shree Bhagwati Club (SBC), the Satdobato Youth Club (SYC) have been promoted to the ‘A’ Division from the Martyr’s Memorial ‘B’ Division League played on Saturday.

SYC has already scored 25 points with two matches to play. Even if KYC, currently in second position with 22 points, wins their remaining one match they will level SYC’s points tally but will still be behind SYC due to head-to-head difference.

KYC made a flying start with Sabin KC scoring a goal in the 26th minute. However, Dona Thapa of SBC leveled in the 40th minute and Aashish Shrestha added another six minutes from time.

In another match, Milan Limbu scored the only goal as Divine Boys Union Club (BUC) defeated Tusal Youth Club (TYC). BUC us in the fourth with 17 points from 10 matches while TYC languishes in 10th place with nine points from their 10 matches.
