BAITADI: A father shot dead his daughter in Baitadi on Saturday evening.
Dhan Bahadur Mahara, 65, of Purchaudi Municipality-10, Vijaypur has shot dead his 20-year-old daughter Belmati Mahara (Dhami).
According to Police Inspector Darshan Khadka of the District Police Office, Baitadi, the girl was shot dead at her home at around 5 pm.
“The father is absconding after killing his daughter,” he said.
