PM Oli more autocratic than ex-King Gyanendra: Bhushal

BHADRAPUR: Standing Committee member of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Ghanashyam Bhushal has claimed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is more autocratic than former King Gyanendra Shah.

Bhushal argued that the fall of the ‘Oli regime’ was certain as such a ‘dictator’ would not last long.

Speaking at a cadre gathering and political training program organized by the faction, Bhushal claimed that the country was in turmoil due to the ‘unconstitutional’ dissolution of the Parliament.

He said that the mid-term polls will not be held on the announced dates.

Expressing his belief that the Supreme Court would rule in favor of the restoration of the parliament on the basis of the constitution, he said, “We are ready to do whatever it takes to defend the constitution, democracy, and the republic.”
