Tribhuvan Army beats Chaudandigadhi 9-0 in Women’s League



KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Football Club (TAFC) defeated Chaudandigadhi Municipality Udayapur 9-0 in the National Women’s League match on a rainy Saturday.

In the first match of the second leg, Rashmi Ghising scored four, Sharmila Thapa scored twice and Bhujanga Rai and Anjali Waiba scored a piece for TAFC. Aimit Lepcha scored an own goal to make it 9-0.

The win narrows TAFC’s gap to Nepal Armed Police Force Club (APF) to two points though APF has a game in hand.

Chaudandigadhi is bottom of the table without a win after seven matches.
