Kathmandu Valley sees 66 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 66 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 48 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 5 in Bhaktapur, and 13 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 99 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,71,806 in the country as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,959 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 248 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,67,812 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, no additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 2,035.
