Eight Nepali cricketers registered for IPL 2021 auction

KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has recommended names of eight Nepali cricketers including Sandeep Lamichhane for the auction of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

CAN on Friday recommended a list of eight Nepali cricketers which include Lamichhane, Binod Bhandari, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Kushal Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Abinash Bohara and Dipendra Singh Airee.

Lamichhane has played already three seasons of IPL while the other cricketers have not played IPL so far.

A total of 1,097 players have registered their names for the auction of the IPL to be held on February 18.
