KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 13.07 points on Wednesday and reached 2,178 points.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index increased by 4.45 points to close at 418.14 points.

Shares of all sub-indices except trade and hydropower increased today.

The share of non-life insurance sub-index increased by 112 points, microfinance by 56 points, development bank by 22 points, and bank by 11 points.

A total of 15 million shares of 205 companies were traded at Rs 4.42 billion on Wednesday. The highest turnover of Rs 213.3 million was recorded in Nepal Life Insurance.
