227 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU and ventilator

KATHMANDU: A total of 227 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and ventilator support.

A total of 197 patients are in ICU and 30 on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, five persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 71 in Bagmati Province, 56 in Gandaki Province, 44 in Lumbini Province, 14 in Karnali Province, and seven in Sudurpaschim Province.

A total of 17 in Bagmati, five in Gandaki Province, seven in Lumbini, and one in Karnali are on ventilator support.
