Nepal sees 126,000 tourists in last 11 months



KATHMANDU: With a decline in the number of coronavirus cases in the country, Nepal witnessed as many as 126,000 tourists in the last 11 months.

The government has been issuing on-arrival visas to tourists entering the country since the last week of September.

The on-arrival visas were made available for tourists submitting a negative PCR report and a document verifying that they received the vaccine against coronavirus.

According to the Nepal Tourism Board, as many as 26,487 tourists visited Nepal in November.
