Fire guts two huts in Bhutanese refugee camp in Beldagi



DAMAK: A fire broke out in two huts of the Bhutanese refugee camp at Damak-3 Beldangi last night.

The hut was completely damaged by the fire, said Surendra Raj Dahal, head of the refugee coordination unit there.

According to him, the houses of Madhu Chapagain and Amar Bahadur Magar of the camp have been completely damaged.

The fire was put out by the team of Area Police Office Damak, Armed Police Beldangi and locals.

According to Dahal, the fire broke out in the house of Magar while lighting a lamp during Laxmi Puja.
