KATHMANDU: Haat of Purchaudi Municipality of Baitadi has been connected to the national power grid.
Ganesh Bahadur Gadal, ward 1 Chairman of Purchaudi Municipality, said that the power has been expanded to Haat, Khadikhet, Dandakot, Dadimbata, Basantapur and other areas of the ward.
Ward Chairman Gadal said the power supply was extended with the help of Jayadurge Chameliya Rural Electricity Cooperative.
Locals have been elated as electricity has lighted up their areas.
