BIRATNAGAR: Fifty-four people have tested positive for COVID19 in Pradesh 1 in the last 24 hours.
Out of 230 people who underwent PCR tests, 53 tested positive for COVID-19 and 39 who underwent antigen tests, one tested for COVID-19.
According to the Ministry of Social Development, 24 from Jhapa, 16 from Morang, 10 from Sunsari, one from Ilam two are from outside Province 1 are among those infected with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, a total of 67 people including 33 women have recovered from COVID-19 while one woman succumbed to the pandemic during the period in the Province1.
