KATHMANDU: The cabinet meeting has made six decisions on Tuesday.

Government Spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that the cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar Tuesday had taken six different decisions, including the approval of the Employment Permit System Operation and Management (First Amendment) Directive, 2021.

He said that the government decided to approve additional security features in the electronic passport.

The cabinet also decided to promote Joint Secretary Ravi Lal Pant to the post of Gazetted Special Class and appoint Associate Advocate Dr. Gopi Chandra Bhatt as the member of the Foreign Employment Tribunal.

The cabinet also decided to appoint Deputy Secretary Bishnu Regmi as the law member for Debt Recovery Tribunal.

The cabinet meeting also decided to form a delegation led by the Foreign Minister to participate in Non-Aligned Movement’s commemorative level meeting starting from October 10.
