Govt sub-engineer arrested with Rs 200,0000 bribe



KATHMANDU: A sub-engineer working at Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division Office, Basundhara, has been arrested with Rs 200,000 bribe.

A team of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested sub-engineer Deepak Kumar KC with the bribe amount.

According to CIAA Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Risal, KC took the amount from the service seeker while disbursing the final bill of the contract for the construction of a culvert.
