NEPSE increases by 41.84 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 41.84 points on Tuesday, the third day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2612.65 points.

Likewise, the sensitive index has also increased by 7.04 points today.

A total of 5.84 million shares of 223 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 2.99 billion.

Today, with the rise of the market, the index of 12 groups has increased.

The largest increase was in the finance group at 4.16 percent. Similarly, the trade group index declined by 1.84 percent.

Investors in 172 companies gained while investors in 11 companies lost today. Among them, Multi Proposal Finance, Samata Domestic Microfinance, and Himalayan Power Partner’s share price has seen a positive circuit.

The share prices of the other four companies have risen by more than 9 percent. The Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEB) and the Federation of Nepali Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) have issued a statement saying that external interference in the stock market has increased.
