NEPSE drops over 100 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 108.26 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2818.72 points.

A total of 23.07 million shares of 223 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of 11.24 billion.

The share price of 16 companies decreased by 10 percent today. The highest number of shares of Arun Valley Hydro Company worth Rs 703.3 million has been bought and sold.

Earlier, at 1 o’clock, the Nepse had dropped five percent and closed for 40 minutes. Of the 215 companies traded before the market closed, 210 declined.

Nepse, which was re-traded at 1:40 am, closed with red marked.
